Trisha has confirmed her participation in the highly anticipated film Good Bad Ugly, starring Ajith Kumar. The actress made the announcement via a social media story, where she re-shared a tweet detailing her upcoming projects, which include Vidaamuyuarchi, Good Bad Ugly, Vishwambhara in Telugu with Chiranjeevi, Identity in Malayalam with Tovino Thomas, and the much-awaited Thug Life alongside Kamal Haasan under Mani Ratnam's direction.
After a somewhat subdued phase in her career, Trisha made a strong comeback with notable roles in Ponniyin Selvan 1 (2022) and Ponniyin Selvan 2 (2023), as well as Leo (2023). She also had a special appearance in Vijay's film The Greatest of All Time earlier this year. Additionally, her classic film Ghilli (2004) was re-released this year to significant acclaim, further showcasing her lasting impact in the industry.
Good Bad Ugly will be a landmark project as it marks the first time Trisha and Ajith Kumar collaborate for consecutive films. The duo was last seen together in Yennai Arindhaal (2015) and has previously shared the screen in several successful films, including Mankatha (2011), Kireedam (2007), and Ji (2005).
Directed by Adhik Ravichandran, who gained attention with his last release Mark Antony (2023), Good Bad Ugly is set to be a significant addition to both actors' filmographies. The film boasts a talented crew, including music composed by Devi Sri Prasad, cinematography by Abinandan Ramanujam, editing by Vijay Velukutty, and action sequences choreographed by Supreme Sundar. Fans are eagerly awaiting further updates on this exciting collaboration.
