On the 4th of this month, actor Allu Arjun visited a theater in Hyderabad to watch the 10:30 PM show of Pushpa 2. His presence caused a rush of fans, which resulted in a stampede. In the chaos, a woman named Revathi (35) and her 9-year-old son, Srideja, were caught in the crowd. Sadly, Revathi passed away, and Srideja is still receiving treatment.
Following the incident, the police filed a case against Allu Arjun and arrested him on the 13th. He was later granted bail. However, the Telangana police are reportedly preparing to challenge his bail in the Supreme Court, leading to a major controversy.
Amid the ongoing discussions, Allu Arjun expressed his distress, stating that actions causing harm to his reputation and good name were taking place. The Telangana police further revealed that although Allu Arjun was informed about the tragic incident, he continued watching the movie and only left the theater after it concluded. CCTV footage from the theater reportedly shows that Allu Arjun stayed until midnight.
