Filmmaker Shankar’s daughter, Aditi Shankar, is making her Telugu debut with the highly anticipated action film Bhairavam. Recently, the makers introduced actress Anandhi as a new addition to the cast. The official announcement came on Friday, accompanied by a character poster revealing Anandhi's role as Neelima. The post described her character as the "Teluginti Andham" (Beauty of Telugu), hinting at her significant impact in the film. Anandhi has previously gained recognition in the Telugu film industry for her performances in films like Sridevi Soda Center and Zombie Reddy.
The film's primary cast already includes Bellamkonda Sreenivas, Manchu Manoj, Nara Rohith, and Divya Pillai. Bhairavam is written and directed by Vijay Kanakamedala, and it is an official remake of the 2023 Tamil film Garudan, starring Soori. The film is produced by KK Radhamohan under the Sri Sathya Sai Arts banner and presented by Dr. Jayantilal Gada of Pen Studios. The musical score is composed by Sricharan Pakala, while the technical aspects of the film are handled by Brahma Kadali (production design) and Hari Vedantam (cinematography).
