Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s much-anticipated Telugu film Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi has arrived in theatres as one of the major festive releases of Sankranti 2026. Directed and written by Kishore Tirumala, the film features Ashika Ranganath and Dimple Hayathi as the female leads, along with Sunil, Satya, and Vennela Kishore in prominent supporting roles. The film is produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri under the SLV Cinemas banner and presented by Zee Studios.
The film opened amid high expectations, largely due to Ravi Teja’s strong fan following and the director’s reputation for family-oriented entertainers. Early responses suggest that the comedy elements and light-hearted treatment of relationships have struck a chord with sections of the audience. The story reportedly revolves around marital and romantic relationships, blending humour with emotional moments, a format that Ravi Teja has successfully delivered in the past.
As the film continues its theatrical run, attention has already shifted to its digital release. Fans who were unable to watch the movie in cinemas, as well as those planning a repeat viewing, are keen to know when and where the film will stream online. According to industry reports, the digital streaming rights of Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi have been secured by Zee5. However, the makers have not yet officially announced the OTT premiere date.
Sources indicate that the film’s digital rights were sold at a comparatively lower price when measured against Ravi Teja’s previous releases, including Mass Jathara. Industry analysts suggest that this could be due to changing market dynamics, evolving audience preferences, and cautious acquisition strategies by streaming platforms. Despite this, the film’s festive release and family-friendly content are expected to work in its favour on digital platforms.
Zee5, which already hosts several popular Telugu films, is likely to schedule the OTT premiere after the film completes its theatrical window. Typically, Telugu films arrive on OTT platforms within four to six weeks of their cinema release, depending on box office performance. An official confirmation from the production team or the streaming platform is awaited.
Ravi Teja’s performance remains one of the film’s major talking points, with fans appreciating his comic timing and screen presence. The supporting cast has also received attention for adding humour and balance to the narrative. With the Sankranti holiday season drawing family audiences, the film’s digital release is expected to attract significant viewership once it becomes available online.
As of now, viewers are advised to wait for an official announcement regarding the streaming date. Until then, Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi continues its theatrical journey while building anticipation for its OTT debut.
