Prabhas, a leading actor in the Telugu film industry, gained pan-Indian fame with the Baahubali franchise. His subsequent films Salaar and Kalki 2898 AD also turned out to be massive successes. Currently, Prabhas is working on a new film titled The Raja Saab, which is being directed by Maruthi. The film, a horror-comedy, is being produced jointly by People Media Factory and GSK Media, with music composed by Thaman.
The movie also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhi Agarwal, and Yogi Babu in pivotal roles. The film's shoot is progressing at a fast pace, and the production is nearly 80% complete, with post-production work underway. Recently, there were speculations that the teaser for The Raja Saab might be released during Christmas or New Year. In response to these rumors, the production company issued an official statement clarifying that these are false and requested fans not to believe them. They assured that the teaser will be released at the appropriate time and promised it would offer a great experience. The film is scheduled to release on April 10 next year.
