The creators of Drinker Sai, a romantic thriller, dropped its second single, "Drinsku Drinsku Drinsku," on Thursday. Written by Academy Award-winning lyricist Chandrabose, the energetic dance anthem features vocals by Rahul Sipligunj, with music composed by Sri Vasanth.
The trailer for the film, which was recently unveiled, introduces Sai (played by debutant Dharma), a rebellious young man who falls for Bhaagi, portrayed by Aishwarya Sharma. The plot revolves around Sai’s relentless pursuit of Bhaagi, which ultimately leads him to take to alcoholism after a series of rejections — perfectly aligning with the film's title.
Directed and written by Kiran Tirumalasetti, Drinker Sai is set against the backdrop of a medical college and carries the tagline “Brand of bad boys.” The supporting cast includes Posani Krishnamurali, Srikanth Iyengar, Sameer, Badram, SS Kaanchi, Kirak Seetha, Ritu Chowdary, Funbucket Rajesh, and Raja Prajwal.
Produced under the banners of Everest Cinemas and Smart Screens Entertainments by Basavaraju Srinivas, Ismal Shaik, and Basavaraju Laharidhar, the technical team includes editor Marthand K Venkatesh and cinematographer Prasanth Ankireddy. Drinker Sai is scheduled to release in theatres on December 27, 2024.
