The Income Tax Department has launched a series of raids at multiple locations associated with well-known film producer Dil Raju, who is famous for producing films like Varisu (starring Vijay) and Game Changer (starring Ram Charan). The raids are currently taking place at eight locations in Hyderabad, including his residence and office. Dil Raju runs the production company Sri Venkateswara Creations and was recently appointed as the head of the Telangana State Film Development Corporation.
In addition to Dil Raju, raids are being carried out at the residences and offices of key figures involved in the production of other major films, including Good Bait Akhli (featuring Ajith) and Pushpa 2 (starring Allu Arjun). The targeted locations include properties linked to producer Maithri Naveen and CEO Cherry of Maithri Movie Makers. Income Tax officials have been conducting searches in areas like Banjara Hills and Jubilee Hills since early morning, with reports of the raids continuing.
