Jr NTR has praised Fahadh Faasil’s performance in the upcoming fantasy film Don’t Trouble the Trouble ahead of its worldwide theatrical release on October 2, 2026. The actor shared his thoughts about the film after watching it and highlighted the performances of Fahadh Faasil and child actor Ssara Palekar, while also appreciating debutant director Shashank Yeleti’s approach to storytelling.

In a detailed post on X, Jr NTR described Don’t Trouble the Trouble as a film that could connect with children, parents and adults who still carry a sense of childhood. He said the film offered an emotional experience and praised the team for handling its themes with warmth.

Jr NTR’s strongest appreciation was directed towards Fahadh Faasil, who plays the central character Suri. The actor described Fahadh’s performance as remarkable and said he was inspired by the way the Malayalam star brought the character to life.

Fahadh Faasil is making his Telugu debut as a lead actor with Don’t Trouble the Trouble. The film is directed by Shashank Yeleti and features Fahadh alongside child actor Ssara Palekar. The story follows Suri, a magician whose life changes after he develops a friendship with a young girl. The narrative takes a fantasy-driven turn when the girl is revealed to have supernatural abilities and a connection to a magical world.

Jr NTR also highlighted Ssara Palekar’s performance. He praised the child actor’s natural acting and innocence and said her portrayal had a strong emotional impact on him. His comments have brought additional attention to the young performer ahead of the film’s theatrical release.

The actor also appreciated director Shashank Yeleti, who is making his directorial debut with the film. Jr NTR praised the filmmaker’s storytelling and said he had presented the story with clarity and warmth. He also noted that handling emotional material involving children and families requires a careful approach.

Jr NTR had previously spoken about his admiration for Fahadh Faasil during the film’s pre release event. At the event, he recalled watching Fahadh’s Bangalore Days and said that his appreciation for the actor began after watching that film. Jr NTR described Fahadh as one of the actors he particularly admires and said the actor had inspired him on several occasions.

During the event, Jr NTR also spoke about Fahadh’s growing popularity among audiences across India. He recalled how Fahadh’s films reached a wider audience during the Covid 19 pandemic and said the actor gradually became familiar to viewers beyond Malayalam cinema.

Don’t Trouble the Trouble is presented by filmmaker SS Rajamouli and produced by his son SS Karthikeya. The project marks an important milestone for Karthikeya as he takes on production responsibilities. Jr NTR also spoke about his long association with the Rajamouli family during the promotional event and recalled his relationship with Karthikeya.

The film has been directed by Shashank Yeleti, who comes from a filmmaking background. Jr NTR also revealed that Shashank had worked as an associate director with his father, filmmaker Chandu Yeleti. He praised Shashank for pursuing his ambition of becoming a director and said that his clarity and passion for cinema could be seen in the film.

The technical team includes composer Kaala Bhairava, cinematographer Brad Francis ACS and editor Praveen Antony. The film is being released in Telugu, with dubbed versions planned in Malayalam and Tamil. It was initially scheduled for an earlier release but was subsequently moved to October 2.

Jr NTR’s comments come shortly after Mahesh Babu also shared positive remarks about the film and Fahadh Faasil. The two actors’ comments have added attention to the project in the final stage of its promotional campaign. Mahesh Babu had praised Fahadh’s acting ahead of the release, while Jr NTR focused on Fahadh’s performance, Ssara Palekar’s contribution and Shashank Yeleti’s storytelling.

The film is positioned as a fantasy entertainer with family and emotional elements. Its central relationship between Suri and the young girl forms an important part of the narrative. The combination of Fahadh Faasil’s Telugu debut, a young lead performer and Shashank Yeleti’s first directorial venture has generated interest ahead of its release.

Jr NTR’s comments should be understood as his personal response after watching the film. His description of Fahadh’s performance as inspiring reflects his appreciation as a fellow actor rather than an independent critical assessment. Similarly, his praise for Ssara Palekar and Shashank Yeleti represents his personal opinion about their work.

Don’t Trouble the Trouble is scheduled to arrive in theatres worldwide on October 2, 2026. With Fahadh Faasil leading the cast and SS Rajamouli presenting the project, the film is entering its theatrical release following a promotional campaign that has included appearances by several prominent figures from the Telugu film industry.

Jr NTR’s latest comments have therefore added another notable voice to the film’s pre release coverage. His praise has particularly focused on Fahadh Faasil’s portrayal of Suri, Ssara Palekar’s natural performance and Shashank Yeleti’s storytelling. The response from audiences will become clearer after the film reaches theatres on October 2.

He praised Shashank for pursuing his ambition of becoming a director and said that his clarity and passion for cinema could be seen in the film.
