Kiran Abbavaram's upcoming period-thriller, KA, has garnered significant attention with its Malayalam distribution rights being acquired by Wayfarer Films, a production company led by Dulquer Salmaan. This announcement was made on Monday, but a specific release date for the film has not yet been revealed.
KA is directed by the debutant duo Sujith and Sandeep and is presented by Mrs. Chinta Varalakshmi, with Chinta Gopalakrishna Reddy producing under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments. The Telugu distribution rights for the film are secured by Vamsi Nandipati. The movie is set in an 80s village, where Kiran Abbavaram plays the role of Vasudev, a postman who delves into a mystery. The film's teaser, released a month ago, has generated considerable interest among audiences.
The technical team behind KA includes cinematographers Viswas Daniel and Sateesh Reddy, production designer Sudheer, and editor Sreevara Prasad. The music is composed by Sam CS. The cast also features Nayan Sarika and Tanvi Raam, contributing to the film's promising ensemble.
