One of the most anticipated films in the Telugu film industry, Hari Hara Veera Mallu starring Pawan Kalyan, has finally locked its release date. After facing a series of production delays and rescheduling due to various reasons including the pandemic and the actor's political commitments, the film is now officially slated to hit theatres on June 12.
Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is a historical action drama set in the 17th century Mughal era. The film showcases Pawan Kalyan in the role of a legendary outlaw who fights against the oppressive regime of the time. The story combines elements of folklore, rebellion, and heroism, offering audiences a mix of history and entertainment.
The film’s production journey has not been easy. Initially announced in 2020, the movie’s release has been postponed multiple times due to various hurdles including logistical issues, COVID-19-related restrictions, and scheduling conflicts. Moreover, Pawan Kalyan’s parallel career in politics added to the challenges in aligning shooting schedules. Despite these setbacks, the filmmakers remained committed to completing the project with grandeur and historical authenticity.
Producer A. M. Ratnam and director Krish have reassured fans that the film will deliver a visually rich experience. The sets, costumes, and action choreography have been designed to reflect the period setting, with large-scale war sequences and traditional battle scenes expected to be among the highlights.
The supporting cast includes Niddhi Agerwal in the female lead, Arjun Rampal, and several prominent names from the industry, each playing pivotal roles that contribute to the depth of the historical narrative. Music for the film has been composed by M. M. Keeravani, known for his work in Baahubali and RRR, further heightening expectations.
The official announcement of the June 12 release date has triggered excitement among fans and industry watchers. Social media platforms have been flooded with celebratory posts, fan-made posters, and countdown graphics. Trade analysts believe the film could perform strongly at the box office, especially considering the massive fan base Pawan Kalyan commands.
The marketing team is expected to ramp up promotional activities in the coming weeks, including the release of new trailers, behind-the-scenes content, and interviews with the cast and crew. Exhibitors across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have already begun planning for large-scale theatrical screenings.
With its scale, cast, and storyline, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is not just a film release—it marks a significant cinematic event in Tollywood’s 2024-2025 calendar. For Pawan Kalyan fans, it is not only a moment of cinematic celebration but also a long-awaited fulfilment of a promise made years ago.
