The upcoming Telugu sports drama Peddi has become a major topic of discussion ahead of its theatrical release on June 4, with reports regarding the remuneration of its cast members circulating widely online. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana, the film features a star studded cast led by Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor.
According to entertainment industry reports, Ram Charan is believed to have received the highest remuneration among the cast. Reports suggest that the actor may have earned between Rs 60 crore and Rs 70 crore for his role in the film. However, the remuneration figures circulating online have not been officially confirmed by the makers.
In the film, Ram Charan will reportedly portray the role of Peddi Pehelwan, a central character in the sports drama narrative. The actor’s involvement has significantly increased audience expectations surrounding the movie, especially after the success of his previous large scale projects.

Meanwhile, Jagapathi Babu will reportedly portray the character Appalasoori in the film. Industry reports suggest his remuneration may range between Rs 2 crore and Rs 4 crore.
Senior Bollywood actor Boman Irani is also said to have an important role in Peddi, although details about his character have not yet been officially revealed. Reports indicate that he may have received between Rs 1 crore and Rs 2 crore for the project.
The film is being produced by Vriddhi Cinemas and IVY Entertainment. The makers are expected to release the official trailer soon as part of the promotional campaign ahead of the theatrical release.
