Directed by Sukumar and starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, Pushpa 2 had an immense reception when it was released on December 5. The film, which also featured actors like Bhagat Basil, was produced by Maitri Movie Makers, with Devi Sri Prasad composing the music and Sam C. S. handling the background score. It was released as a pan-India film in multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi.
Pushpa 2 achieved tremendous success both in terms of box-office collections and critical acclaim. It grossed over ₹1850 crore globally, surpassing the previous record set by Baahubali 2 (₹1790 crore).
The film was initially set to be re-released in theatres for the Pongal festival on January 11 under the title Pushpa 2 Reloaded. This version was supposed to feature additional 20 minutes of footage, extending the movie’s runtime to 3 hours 40 minutes.
However, due to technical reasons, the release date of the Pushpa 2 Reloaded version has been postponed. The new release date is now set for January 17, and fans are eagerly awaiting the re-release of the film with the added scenes.
