The shooting of Vijay Deverakonda's highly anticipated film, tentatively titled VD 12, has encountered an unusual setback while filming in Kerala. The production team was capturing scenes near the Bhoothathankettu forest, utilizing two elephants for specific sequences. However, the situation escalated when both elephants unexpectedly confronted each other, wreaking havoc on the film set.
Director Gowtam Tinnanuri had planned to incorporate the elephants into key scenes, and the film unit had arranged for their presence at the location near Kothamangalam. Unfortunately, during the shoot, tensions between the two elephants rose, leading to chaos among the cast and crew. Despite attempts to control the situation, one elephant sustained an injury, while the other fled deep into the forest.
Upon realizing the seriousness of the incident, the production team promptly alerted forest officials, who quickly intervened and successfully located the runaway elephant. As a result of this unexpected occurrence, filming has been temporarily halted, with the makers expressing their intention to resume once conditions stabilize and the elephants are secured.
