Siddhu Jonnalagadda, who rose to fame through his charismatic performance in the Telugu film DJ Tillu, is gearing up for his next big release titled Badass. The new project, announced by Sithara Entertainments, is expected to present Siddhu in a never-before-seen avatar, stirring anticipation among fans and cinema enthusiasts across the Telugu film industry.
The actor, who has become a household name due to his portrayal of a witty and eccentric character in the Tillu franchise, is now looking to explore a different cinematic space. With Badass, Siddhu is said to take on a character that contrasts sharply with his previous roles, offering audiences a new dimension of his acting range. The official announcement came through the production house’s social media platforms, accompanied by a poster that hints at a bold and intense look for the actor.
Sithara Entertainments, one of the leading production houses in Telugu cinema, has backed several successful films in recent years and played a key role in shaping Siddhu’s career trajectory. With this latest announcement, the production team has indicated that Badass will be a standalone project, not directly connected to the Tillu franchise, but equally rooted in commercial entertainment.
Industry sources suggest that the film may feature action-packed sequences combined with a stylish narrative. While specific details about the plot and other cast members are still under wraps, early reports hint that the film will focus on themes of transformation, grit, and personal redemption. The team is expected to reveal the director, music composer, and lead actress in the coming weeks.
Siddhu Jonnalagadda has gradually carved a niche for himself in the Telugu film industry as both an actor and writer. His dialogue delivery, comic timing, and screen presence have earned him a strong fan base, particularly among younger audiences. With Badass, Siddhu appears ready to take a creative leap by portraying a character that pushes him outside of his comfort zone.
Fans have already begun speculating about the nature of the film based on the title and the actor’s new look. Film analysts believe that Badass could be a game-changer for Siddhu, especially if the film balances mass appeal with a compelling storyline. The actor's previous film, Tillu Square, a sequel to DJ Tillu, is still fresh in the audience’s memory, and expectations remain high for his next project.
Sithara Entertainments has confirmed that pre-production is in its final stages and that shooting will begin soon. The film is tentatively scheduled for release in early 2026, although an official date has not yet been announced.
With a promising concept and a popular lead actor, Badass is shaping up to be one of the most awaited Telugu films in development. More updates are expected in the coming weeks as the team prepares for the film’s full-scale launch.
