Tharun Bhascker and Eesha Rebba star in the upcoming untitled comedy-drama, with Tharun taking on the role of Ambati Omkar Naidu. The film is the official Telugu remake of the 2022 Malayalam dark comedy hit, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hey, which tells the poignant story of a homemaker who stands up to her abusive husband. In this Telugu adaptation, Tharun is set to portray the character of the husband, showcasing his versatility in a role that contrasts with the film's central theme of empowerment.
Produced by Movie Verse Studios and S Originals, known for producing the critically acclaimed 35 - Chinna Katha Kaadu, the film marks the directorial debut of AR Sajeev. A significant portion of the film was shot in Rajahmundry earlier this year, providing a picturesque backdrop for this compelling narrative. The supporting cast features talented actors, including Brahmaji, who adds to the film's depth.
The music for the project is composed by Jay Krish, while the cinematography is handled by Deepak Yeragara, ensuring a high-quality visual and auditory experience. The first look poster, which was recently unveiled, has generated excitement among fans, who are eager to see how this remake pays homage to the original while bringing a fresh perspective to the story. More details about the film are expected to be revealed soon as the release date approaches.
