Vishwak Sen’s action-packed film Mechanic Rocky, which had a theatrical release three weeks ago, is now available for streaming on Prime Video. The film, which also stars Shraddha Srinath and Meenakshi Chaudhary, can be streamed as of Friday. Directed by Ravi Teja Mullapadi, this action thriller follows Rakesh, aka Rocky (Vishwak Sen), an engineering dropout working at his father’s garage. When the garage faces extortion threats from a local gangster, Rocky decides to step in and help his father, which leads him into a dangerous confrontation with criminals.
In our review of Mechanic Rocky, we noted its self-awareness, with the film effectively blending genres and tones. The film’s marketing strategy, which was compared to Vijay Sethupathi’s Maharaja, managed to intrigue audiences, and the execution largely paid off. Mechanic Rocky was produced by SRT Entertainments with Ram Talluri serving as the producer, while Jakes Bejoy composed the music. The film also features cinematography by Manoj Reddy and editing by Anwar Ali.
As for Vishwak Sen, the actor’s upcoming projects include Laila and Funky, the latter of which was officially launched earlier this week. Additionally, he is working on an untitled cop-drama, directed by debutant Sreedhar Ghanta, adding to his diverse slate of future projects.
