The Prime Minister’s appeal to the public was a direct call to action for voters to reject the Congress narrative, framing the upcoming elections as a choice between national unity and political division.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly condemned the Congress party for what he described as "speaking the language of Pakistan" on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir. Speaking at a rally, Modi accused Congress leaders of aligning with views that, in his words, are detrimental to India’s sovereignty and integrity. He pointed out that Congress’ stance on Jammu and Kashmir has been repeatedly critical of the decisions made by the BJP-led government, particularly after the revocation of Article 370 in 2019.

In his address, Modi urged the electorate to respond to these allegations by voting for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), which he claimed is the only party capable of addressing the region’s challenges and ensuring its integration and development. He emphasized that the BJP stands firm on its position regarding Jammu and Kashmir and will not tolerate any political narrative that undermines the nation’s unity.

Modi’s remarks reflect the heightened political tension over Jammu and Kashmir, a region that has been at the center of intense debates since the abrogation of its special status. The Prime Minister’s appeal to the public was a direct call to action for voters to reject the Congress narrative, framing the upcoming elections as a choice between national unity and political division. He asserted that under the BJP's leadership, the region is witnessing significant development and that any attempt to destabilize this progress must be rejected at the ballot box.

As the political landscape intensifies, PM Modi’s comments are part of an ongoing effort to consolidate support for the BJP, particularly in regions where the issue of Jammu and Kashmir remains a contentious point. The remarks also serve as a reminder of the BJP's strong stance on national security and its promise to uphold India's territorial integrity against any opposition, both domestic and foreign.
