Multiple factions, including the Syrian government, rebel forces, and international actors, have been involved in the prolonged conflict, complicating efforts to find a viable solution.

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) of India has issued an official statement calling on all parties involved in the Syrian conflict to work together in preserving the unity and sovereignty of Syria. The statement highlights the growing concern over the ongoing violence and instability that continues to affect the nation.

India has consistently advocated for a peaceful resolution to the Syrian crisis, emphasizing dialogue and diplomacy as the path forward. The MEA’s statement reiterates India’s position that all stakeholders must engage constructively to safeguard Syria's territorial integrity and ensure lasting peace in the region.

The Syrian conflict, which began in 2011, has led to significant loss of life, displacement, and a humanitarian crisis. Multiple factions, including the Syrian government, rebel forces, and international actors, have been involved in the prolonged conflict, complicating efforts to find a viable solution.

In this context, the Indian government has expressed support for the efforts of the United Nations and other international bodies working to mediate peace and provide humanitarian aid. India has also urged the global community to refrain from actions that may exacerbate the situation, stressing the importance of a coordinated approach to stabilize the region.

India’s call for unity in Syria is consistent with its broader foreign policy of promoting peace, stability, and respect for sovereignty in conflict zones. As the situation remains tense, India’s diplomatic stance underscores the need for a collective effort to end the conflict and address the humanitarian needs of the Syrian people.
