Prime Minister Narendra Modi is likely to meet Keir Starmer, the leader of the UK’s Labour Party, during the upcoming G20 Summit in Brazil this month. The meeting, set to take place on the sidelines of the summit, is expected to focus on discussing bilateral relations between India and the United Kingdom.
Both leaders are expected to engage in talks aimed at deepening diplomatic, economic, and cultural ties between their countries. With India and the UK sharing historical ties, discussions during the meeting may also cover various global issues, including trade, climate change, and security concerns.
Keir Starmer’s visit to the summit is seen as an opportunity to strengthen India-UK ties, particularly in light of the growing strategic partnerships in areas such as technology and investment. The G20 Summit, being one of the largest gatherings of world leaders, provides an important platform for such high-level interactions.
The meeting between Prime Minister Modi and Starmer highlights the ongoing diplomatic efforts to expand India’s global reach and foster closer cooperation with key international partners, including the United Kingdom.
